5-year warranty  

"Free replacement within three years and free five-year warranty " means that the product may be replaced within three years after purchase and repaired free of charge within five years.

The range for free replacement and free repair is limited only to the main unit of products, excluding package, connecting wires, software products, technical literature and other accessories.

In case of performance problems with any of our products within one week of purchasing, if there is no such damage as surface scratches, a brand new replacement of the same model will be given.

However, within the warranty period, the product in question for replacement must go through a test conducted by the testing personnel of Kyland Technology Co., Ltd. For quality products passing tests, they will be returned to the user on site; for confirmed defective products, a identical model or a reworked non-defective product of equivalent performance will replace the defective one while the defective part belongs to Kyland Technology Co., Ltd.

When requesting service from our service agency, please have the corresponding invoice and warranty certificate along with you. In case of failure to present the above proof, the free replacement and free repair period would be calculated from the manufacturing date labeled on your product.

Products repaired at your expense will be covered with a three-month free warranty period from the time of repair. Please keep and secure your repair receipt.  
 
  
Means of Repair  
 
1. You are entitled to request for replacement or repair warranty service by presenting a valid voucher such as purchase invoice and warranty certificate for the product at fault.
2.The dealers who sold Kyland Telecom products to customers should apply for free replacement or free repair services to the headquarters of Kyland Technology Co., Ltd. For those approved for replacement in compliance with the product warranty terms, the dealers are empowered to do so.
3. Customers or dealers should cover the freight of returned products for reworking to Kyland while Kyland will cover the freight of the reworked or replaced products sent to customers or dealers from Kyland. 


  
Special Statements  
 
1. The abovementioned service commitments are only applicable to KYLAND products sold on the Chinese mainland. In terms of the products sold under otherwise after-sale service terms, reference should be made to the contracts confirmed by Kyland.
2. Providing that any dealer makes other commitments to customers than those issued officially by Kyland, please request the dealer for written evidence binding the dealer to keep his or her commitment, for which Kyland Telecom will take no liability.
Note: The above commitments are subject to interpretation and revision by Kyland Technology Co., Ltd.  

  
The following cases are excluded in the free replacement and repair warranty coverage  
   
1. Product damage incurred due to failure to install or use as per the operation manual. 
2. The products are beyond the expiration date for the free replacement and free repair warranty period. 
3. The bar code or serial number labeled on product is altered or deleted.
4. The products were repaired or disassembled by someone other than the authorized persons or  Kyland professionals. 
5. Problem is due to customer who changes the inherent setting file without prior permission of our company or virus intrusion that incurs product fault. 
6. The products are damaged owing to transportation or handling on the way for reworking by  customers. 
7. The product damages are caused by unexpected factors or deliberate acts such as incorrect  voltage input, high temperature, water penetration, mechanical disruption, crash breakage, severe oxidation, rusting or else. 
8. The product damage is caused by force majeure such as earthquake or fire disaster.
