(1) System Structure

The procedures of synthetic ammonia production consist of gas preparation, desulfuration, convention, carbonification, refinery and synthesis. At present, DCS has been adopted and accepted by most of synthetic ammonia manufacturers. DCS consists of three parts of distributed sub stations, central stations and communication networks. Sub Stations connect to the gages in the field and drive executive units in the field, and then report to the central station via the communication network.

(2) Requirements of Network

To guarantee stable communication inside the DCS, there are two planes in the network, and industrial Ethernet switches are required to be qualified for anticorrosion, high temperature resistance and EMC.

(3) Implementation

Industrial Ethernet switches such as KIEN3024、KIEN3016B、KIEN2000B、SICOM3024、SICOM3000 are employed in the DCS of synthetic ammonia production.
