(1) System Structure

To implement centralized DCS of non-solid production equipment upon the widely distributed control units, there are three consoles in the CCR (Central Control Room) designed to collect data, monitor working states and adjust working parameters of equipment all over the factory. Also, for local monitoring and operation, there is a field console inside the field control station in 11 workshops.

(2) Requirements of Networks

The architecture of the communication network is a ring network based on industrial Ethernet, offering redundancy, flexible configuration and stable operation. In addition, the industrial switcher feeds power to gages at the end point of the network, ensuring that the whole system is safe and reliable.

(3) Implementation

Industrial Ethernet switches like SICOM3000 and KIEN2000 are employed in the redundant ring network.
Industrial Ethernet feeder switches like KIEN1000PSE are employed in the terminal and feed power to the gages in the field.
