Signal Control System.pdf

1) System Structure

Automatic Train Control system (ATC) consists of automatic train supervision (ATS), automatic train protection (ATP), automatic train operation (ATO), computer-based interlocking (SICAS), and Remote control audio frequency non-insulated track circuit system (FTGS) etc.

ATC can be divided into four layers according to its functions: the integrated control layer of ATS, including backup systems of the control center and station; trackside layer along with rail, including SICAS, signal components, axle counters, responders for interlocking and ATP functions; communication layer, including LAN network, wireless, ring, responders etc; vehicle system layer, including ATP and ATO, consecutive/point communication, etc.

2) Network Requirements

Communication network layer contains network of control center, network between center and stations, network in stations, trackside wireless network and network in train.
Good real-time performance. Backbone network, control center and station control network employ reliable dual network.
Excellent EMC performance
The vehicle equipment must have good vibration resistance and redundancy.

3) Product Application

Layer3 Gigabit industrial Ethernet switches SICOM6000 are applied in ATC backbone communication network, ensuring reliable and real-time data transmission, meanwhile, the data in different segments can be isolated to enhance data security.
SICOM3000/SICOM3024/SICOM3048 Industrial Ethernet switches are used in control center, computer interlocking system and communication between trackside equipment.
KOM300/KIEN1005/SICOM3000 are for communication between tunnel trackside equipment and station control, to offer reliable communication for train and ground.
