The SCADA system of urban rail transport consists of a dispatching main station system, substation integrated automation system and inter-station communication system. The dispatching main station system at the control center exchanges information with the main control units of the substation by Gigabit industrial Ethernet switches. The substation integrated automation system communicates with the IED in stations by fast Ethernet switches.
2) Network Requirements
In the integrated automation substation system in stations, dual-ring topology is applied to connect all IED by industrial Ethernet switches, requiring good performance in EMC, humidity and insulation for networking devices.
Network topology can be star, ring or mixed.
Complies with IEC61850.
The network is uplink connected to the central system by the backbone communication network of integrated monitoring system.
3) Product Application
SICOM3016/SICOM3000/KIEN6000/KIEN3024 Industrial Ethernet switches are used in the SCADA system of subway stations and vehicle sections.
KOM300/KOM200 Industrial media converters are in remote systems of traction substations.
