1) System Structure

The modern PIS (Passenger Information System) not only displays notices to passengers and time table in the carriage, but also displays stock info, news, live sports events, ads etc. In the event of fire, traffic jams or terrorist attacks, PIS can offer dynamic emergency evacuation information.

Meanwhile, there is more bandwidth in the wireless communication system, PIS can transmit the video images in the train to the control center by working together with the train monitoring system to ensure the train’s safety.

PIS contains the backbone information network, station connection network and vehicle information network.

2) Network Requirements

Support for high-speed, making it possible to transmit images and monitor high-speed running trains.
IP67 protection class, be able to work in harsh tunnel environments or rainy weather with iron chips,.
Distributed switching mode prevents the deadlock central controller from crashing the whole system.
Trackside equipment complies with IEC61000 level 4 requirements and can work in a strong electromagnetic environment.
Fast switching function ensures no data loss and stable video transmission when train is running long distance and crossing AP.
