BAS.pdf1) System Structure
BAS (Building Automation System) is a typical integrated system, it is realized by controlling the ventilation and conditioning system, lighting, water supply and drainage, navigation, screen door, escalators in stations and tunnels and communicates with the central monitoring system through the backbone network. As an integrated system, BAS has three basic characteristic: open system, application requirements and interface.
Networking communication is the main part of BAS and the basic platform of BAS layer-3 structure, and is able to transmit BAS data. The industrial Ethernet of the station monitoring network shall comply with the requirements of the subway station and tunnel environment.
2) Network Requirements
Fast Ethernet switches are applied in the station BAS and connected into dual-star or dual ring network to ensure the reliability and security of data.
The subway features require the equipment in the station to have good temperature/humidity/EMC performance.
Excellent EMC immunity ensures that equipment works well in the harsh rail environment.
3) Product Application
SICOM6496/SICOM6424 Industrial Ethernet switch in the communication network of the subway integrated monitoring backbone network.
SICOM3000/KIEN6000 Industrial Ethernet switch in BAS monitoring network of each station.
