Integrated Monitoring System.pdf1) System StructureBackbone network of integrated monitoring system is the trunk of the network, and connects the LAN of stations and vehicle sections with the LAN of the control center into a WAN. It consists of BAS, FAS, and SCADA etc.
The subnets in the system operate separately, meanwhile, they share information and communicate each other, in this way, integrated monitor and coordinated control are realized in the whole of the subway system.
2) Network Requirements
The integrated monitoring backbone network (MBN) is structured by dual industrial Ethernet ring topology with a transmission rate of 1000Mbps. It does not only meet the current requirements for the project, but also prepares space for future extension, more connections, and higher layer system integration.
Industrial Ethernet switches must have layer-3 switching performance, each port is compatable with Gigabit wire-speed forwarding, is redundant, is compatible with thermal back-up switches and offers various management functions like VLAN.
