The system is is composed of two layers: bay level and substation level.
In the substation level, the local monitoring station and remote station are connected to the dispatching end by Gigabit industrial Ethernet. The local station communicates with the bay level via industrial Ethernet switch, and collects the messages, events from bay level devices and gives commands of control and setting calculation; it communicates with the DC system, power meter, and location devices of contact network by industrial Ethernet fiber optical switch.
2) Network Requirements
Ensure the basic data of traction electric power, and employ dual industrial Ethernet ring topology.
The industrial Ethernet switch is able to work in the environment of wide-range fluctuation voltage.
Industrial Ethernet switch must be shock-resistant against multiple harmonic waves.
Industrial Ethernet switch is able to work in the environment of fast pulse cluster with +4Kv of amplitude to ensure its electromagnetic immunity against the interference caused by abrupt change of high current.
3) Product Application
Embedded SICOM3004/KIEN2012 industrial Ethernet switches are built into various relay protection devices, by which all protection devices are connected into the ring network.
SICOM3024/KIEN3024 industrial Ethernet switches are applied in the station network to form dual star topology, implement the communication and detection of protection devices and background.
The KIEN1005 industrial Ethernet switch and KOM300 industrial fiber optical converter are used for the location system of contact network.
