1) System Structure
The train control system is the crucial way to ensure that vehicle equipment runs safely and effectively. It automatically monitors and controls train operation according to the information transmitted from trackside.
The train control system consists of trackside and onboard equipment, the former are mainly used for the train control center, communication system, track circuit, and responder.
The main functions of the system include carrier frequency handover, speed & distance calculation, anti-slip/slide, data recording, location correction, responder information receiving and processing, information interaction with trainman, device brake/driver brake priority, anti-running and handover between CTCs.
2) Network requirements
Dual Ethernet ring topology is employed, the redundant dual ring network ensures the security and reliability of system.
Complies with IEC61000 level 4.
Recovery time of redundancy less than 50ms.
3) Product Application
Industrial Ethernet switches SICOM6224 are used for the communication between two railway segments to isolate the data of two segments and enhance network security.
Industrial Ethernet switches are connected for the communication system between trackside stations.
