1.The industrial Ethernet network is separated by domains, to guarantee central monitoring and isolation of the fault of communication. In addition, it is a redundant network. Therefore communication performance does not slow down when a fault occurs in any network. The industrial Ethernet switches build up super stacks to connect all sub systems of the distributed control system.
2.The VLAN or router functions of the core switch implement isolation between domains and inter-domain data transfer patterns.
3.The industrial Ethernet switches are required to be qualified for EMI, dust, humidity and high temperatures around the thermal power plant.
(3) Implementation
Industrial Ethernet switches such as SICOM3024, SICOM3048, SICOM3000 and KIEN6000 are employed in the control center, generator units and public systems.
