(2) Requirements of Network
1.Based on the dual-plane network architecture, the automation system of the power substation connects all devices via two isolated networks, thereby obtaining high reliability. In addition, the two networks can be used separately for communication and fault wave-recording.
2.The communication devices must be compliant with IEC61850-3 specifications, and be qualified for high temperatures, strong EMI and humidity.
(3) Implementation
The industrial Ethernet switches such as SICOM3024, KIEN3024, KIEN3016, KIEN2000 and KIEN1000 are widely employed in the automation systems of 110KV, 220KV, and 500KV transformer substations.
